Shipping Costs & Delivery Schedules

At this time, we are currently shipping to customers in Canada only.

During Checkout you will see the total price, including taxes, shipping and handling charges, in Canadian before you place your order. Your credit card will be charged in Canadian dollars according to the charges displayed during Checkout. Packages shipped to Canadian addresses do not require a signature for delivery.

Your PayPal account or credit card will be charged at the moment of completing checkout in order to reserve pre-ordered items. Dahlia tuber pre-orders will be shipped from mid-April through May after the danger of frost had passed.

Title to the products in your order is transferred from The Bear Necessities Acres to you when your credit card is charged and your products are shipped. Risk of loss with respect to the products in your order is transferred from The Bear Necessities Acres to you when your order is delivered to you. This transfer of title does not affect our returns policy.

Please reference estimated delivery date during checkout to determine when your order will arrive based upon your order time.

All orders ship Monday - Friday, excluding federal holidays within Canada.

Tracking Orders

When your order is ready to be shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation email. Most of our orders are shipped within 1-2 business days after the order has been placed. The email will contain shipment details, your tracking number, and a link to the selected carrier site. To track the order, click on the tracking number located near the bottom of the email.
